A survey of 1,000 Americans across the country was asked to find out what their favorite holiday treat is. The national winner was pumpkin pie, with one-third of Americans naming it as their No. 1 choice. Eggnog came in second with 20% of the vote and peppermint bark rounded out the Top 3 with 13%. As for North Carolina, consumers’ favorite holiday dessert is… pumpkin pie!
