More than 60 years later, the remains of a Vietnam Soldier and Waynesville native deemed missing in action have been located. The Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency announced on Saturday that Fredrick M. Hall is now accounted for. The search dates back to April 12, 1969. In 2021 a recovery mission found the remains and DNA analysis confirmed they were that of the U.S. Air Force Captain. Hall will be buried in Waynesville NC on October 10, WSOC-TV In Charlotte reports.
