A voluntary recall has been issued for hamburger and hot dog buns sold at popular retailers including Publix and Walmart after plastic pieces were found in the food. Flower Foods Inc issued the recall for buns and other baked goods due to the potential presence of hard plastic pieces that were found in production equipment that could have been transferred to the product. Many popular brands are under the recall, including Great Value sold at Walmart, Wonder Bread, Publix Brand and Nathans. No related injuries or illnesses have been reported.
