WCU Chancellor Kelli R. Brown is recovering after a medical emergency Wednesday afternoon. In a statement Brown shared that she was taken to Harris Regional Hospital after experiencing unusual symptoms during a zoom call that affected her mobility and speech, but noted that she is feeling much improvement. Brown will be resting up for a few days and Provost Richard Starnes will be officer in charge in her absence.
