A former officer with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is in jail following a grand jury indictment for alleged sex crimes against three children. Gregory Jack Hevle of Whittier, was arrested for a total of six charges related to sexual assault of three children, ranging in ages 7 to 11 years old, between 2012 and 2021, according to court documents. He is being held in the Jackson County Detention Center under a $750,000 secured bond.
