Bond Set for Cherokee Man in Safe Theft

Bond was set at $26,000 on July 5th for a Cherokee, NC. man arrested last week in connection to a theft at a local business. In an update Wednesday , Franklin police said they have identified the suspect as Logan McKenna Otter. The 28-year-old reportedly broke into the business and stole a safe with $4,000 inside. Franklin Police did recover most of the money as well as stolen items from a previous crime. The investigation remains ongoing, police said in the update.
