From Heartbreak to Happiness: Wyatt Flores Unveils “Oh Susannah” and Debut Album “Welcome To The Plains”
Wyatt Flores, a rising star in the country music scene, is back with a powerful new song and a highly anticipated debut album.
A Song of Self-Reflection:
“Oh Susannah,” released today, is accompanied by a moving music video. Flores describes the song’s inspiration as a personal journey of self-discovery. “It’s about realizing I needed to take care of myself before taking care of others,” he shares. The song serves as an apology to his fans for taking a mental health break earlier this year.

Blending Tradition and Heart
Produced by Beau Bedford (Orville Peck, Shane Smith & The Saints), “Welcome To The Plains” chronicles Flores’ journey of navigating his hometown roots in Stillwater, Oklahoma, with the highs and lows of life on the road. The 14-track album features collaborations with Old Crow Medicine Show’s Ketch Secor and Aaron Raitiere, showcasing Flores’ signature blend of traditional country and folk sounds.
A Story of Home and Growth
“It’s an album about home and the search for happiness,” Flores reflects. “It’s about small towns, family, and the people who shape who we are. It’s an album of joy and heartbreak, and I hope you find something you love in here.”
