ABC affiliate WATE shared photos and videos depicting the park’s parking lot submerged in water, with several cars inundated. Other images showed floodwaters within the park and its attractions.
Pigeon Forge Police reported on social media that McCarter Hollow Road, located at the park’s entrance, had collapsed due to the heavy rain.
In a social media post, the park mentioned that Pigeon Forge Police and fire departments assisted park staff in guiding guests to safety.
